st. George's day

a) Who was St George? The patron of Catalonia and England
b) Where was he born? George was born a citizen of the Roman Empire at Cappadocia, Turkey, in 280AD. At the age of 17 he joined the Roman Army and quickly rose through the ranks.
c) What was his occupation? I was a knight
d) What kind of person was he? He was an impressive man in looks and personality. Records describe him as tall in stature and strikingly handsome. Among his men, he gained a reputation for being fair, chivalrous and brave.”
e) What was the official religion of the Roman Empire? John Clemence said: “The main religion of the Roman Empire was Paganism and Christianity was feared by the establishment. The emerging religion was perceived to be undermining the Roman morale and order.”
f) What did the Roman Emperor do that made St. George angry?“Christian scriptures were burnt, churches were destroyed and practising Christians lost their right to Roman citizenship. Violence soon followed. Among the Christian communities, Diocletian became known as the cruellest ever persecutor of the faith.
g) What was St. George's reaction? George was a Christian convert and he decided to speak out against his Emperor’s actions.”

Strange tales

Strange Tales, Martin Sinclair.
I choose this book because my English teacher tells me that I had to read this book for the holidays.
This book it's of fantasy/make believe.
This book have six episodes:
-The Ghosts in the Tower of London
-The Ghosts of Glamis Castle
-Borley - A Haunted Village
-The Soldier Ghost
-The Story of Mary Gibson
-The Loch Ness Monster
* Did you like the story? Why or why not?
Me to tasted only a bit, because I don't understand more than words of stories.
* What was the best part of the book? Why?
I like only one story, "the soldier ghost" because I like$ and understands it self a bit .
* How did the story make you feel? Did you feel different things at different points in the story?
The story makes me feel weird, confusing, because I don't believe very much in the fantastic things.

* Would you recommend it to friends?Would you read other books by this author?
No, never.
* What new things did you learn from this book?
No because I don't believe in fantastic stories.
CONCLUSION:
I liked this book to me, but it was a hard poo.
I would have liked to have read more in class

WRITING A NARRATIVE

First my team scored a goal, we all were excited but 10 minutes later scored the other we went aways to te second part 1-1.
When we began we scored each one a goal, 2-2, but since we could not stay tie we did the "proroga" but we score goals. And so baly luck that in the penalties they won us of one.
But finally in the second match we win =)
